Privacy Policy for Airform

Privacy Policy for Airform

Effective date: June 8, 2026

Airform is provided by Ultraviolet Friend.

Airform is a posture awareness app for Mac, iPhone, and iPad.

This Privacy Policy explains what app data and personal data Airform uses, how that data is used, and what choices you have.

1. What Airform Does

Airform uses motion data from supported AirPods and Beats devices to estimate head-position drift relative to your saved baseline. This allows the app to provide posture awareness, reminders, and analytics.

Airform does not use its own account system or login.

2. Data Airform Uses

Airform may use and store the following data to provide its features:

- posture session data and posture history

- derived analytics, such as posture consistency, movement patterns, drift trends, and related insights

- optional music playback context for media controls and analytics, such as playback source, track metadata, artwork, and posture windows linked to music when those settings are enabled

- calibration profiles and app settings

- preferences such as reminder settings, color selections, and active profile choices

- trial and purchase state needed to provide trial access, purchases, and restore purchases

- support information if you choose to contact us

3. How Airform Uses Data

Airform uses data to:

- provide posture awareness, reminders, and analytics

- show music controls and optional media-posture insights when those features are enabled

- save your setup and preferences

- sync supported data across your devices when iCloud is available

- provide trial access, purchases, and restore purchases

- respond to support requests if you contact us

For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, our legal bases usually are:

- performance of a contract, when processing is needed to provide the app and the features you request

- legitimate interests, when processing is needed to respond to support requests and maintain the app

- compliance with legal obligations, where required

4. On-Device Storage, Apple Services, and Recipients

Airform stores posture session history, posture analytics, music playback context, and most app data on your device.

Airform may sync supported setup data through Apple services such as iCloud, CloudKit, and iCloud Key-Value Storage. This currently includes items such as profiles, supported settings, and trial-related app state. Posture session history and saved media-posture analytics are kept local to your device.

If you use iCloud sync or App Store purchases, Apple processes the data needed to provide those features, including through iCloud, CloudKit, the App Store, and StoreKit.

If iCloud is disabled or unavailable, sync-related features may not be available.

On Mac, if you allow Automation for Apple Music or Spotify, Airform reads now playing information and sends playback commands to provide visible media controls and optional media-posture insights. Airform does not send this music context to Ultraviolet Friend.

On Mac, Airform may use Bluetooth information from connected headphones to show battery level and estimate whether you have left or returned to your desk during posture tracking.

5. Purchases

Airform uses Apple’s StoreKit for purchases and restore purchases.

Payment processing is handled by Apple. Airform does not receive your full payment card information.

6. Tracking, Advertising, and Third Parties

Airform does not use your data to track you across apps or websites for advertising purposes.

Airform does not include third-party advertising SDKs.

Airform does not include third-party analytics SDKs for posture data.

Airform does not sell your personal data.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Airform keeps data for as long as it is needed to provide app functionality, or until you remove it.

You can delete your Airform data directly in the app using Delete All Data. You can also manage iCloud access for Airform in your Apple device settings.

8. Your Privacy Rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and data portability, where applicable.

You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Most Airform data is stored on your device or synced through Apple services such as iCloud and CloudKit, rather than through a separate developer-operated account system.
